Maria Child Care . . . Catholic child care promoting Gospel values

Maria Child Care provides loving care for infants and young children. Maria serves children ages six weeks to six years, providing a secure and Developmentally Appropriate Program which strives to meet the needs of the whole child. Activities are designed to enrich the cognitive, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of the child.

Maria is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and admits children of any race, color, religion, national origin, or disability in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities of the center.

As a Catholic child care center, children are exposed daily to prayer and the teaching of Christian values through adult modeling, religion lessons in preschool and the endorsement of positive behaviors that emphasize concern for others.

The Maria staff is very stable (average length of employment is 6 years) which provides the children with a sense of stability.

The Maria Preschool program exposes children to academic skills incorporated into the art of play. The lead preschool teachers are degreed educators with specialized training in Early Childhood Education.

Hours
Maria is a year-round facility for children and is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are served daily.

Tours
To insure the safety of the children enrolled at the center, tours for all visitors are prearranged.
